Charlie Mysak is an award winning filmmaker and director. He excels in creating socially-conscious projects, both long and short form, collaborating and developing ideas from the ground up. His film CITIZEN screened at The Palm Springs International Film Festival, one of the largest festivals for shorts in the world, while his spot for Ad Council was shortlisted for the 2020 AICP Awards as well as the AICP Post Awards. His short documentary BROOKLYNN received a Vimeo Staff Pick, was featured on Short of the Week and was nominated for the Filmmaker-to-Watch Award at the Oscar-Qualifying Atlanta Film Festival. His digital spot ‘Play Without Limits’ won a Webby Award in 2017, took home a Silver Lion at the Cannes Film Festival and was named Gold Winner for Adweek’s Project Isaac Award. Charlie is an honors graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, with a bachelor of arts degree in cinematography and film/tv production.
